Design stories are always crafted through dialogue and empathy with the residents.

The family expressed their wish for a home they could feel warmly connected to—a space where they could relax comfortably and recharge.

They wanted to improve the large, unnecessary hallway space and reconfigure the kitchen, which was not separated from the dining area. For the finishes, they requested materials that are cool, clean, and easy to maintain so taller family members wouldn't feel cramped.

Overall, we used sleek, cool-toned materials paired with warm-toned lighting. Italian lime plaster was applied to the walls to add texture and warmth.

Zoning (Before & After Floor Plan)

The dining area, living room, and relaxation room were designed as spaces for active family interaction, while the pantry, main kitchen, and bathroom were configured as functional zones.

The bedrooms were also designed with adequate storage and functionality to allow members to use them privately. The floor plan was reconfigured considering lifestyle and spatial efficiency.

디자인 스토리는 항상 거주자와의 대화와 공감을 통해 만들어지는데요.
가족들이 집을 따뜻하게 생각하고 가족이 아주 편하게 쉬며 재충전을 할 수 있는 공간이었으면 좋겠다고 의견을 주셨습니다.

집에 크게 자리잡은 불필요한 복도공간의 개선, 다이닝과 분리되지 않은 키친의 재구성을 원하셨고, 마감소재는 키가 큰 가족 구성원들이 답답함을 느끼지 않도록 시원하고 깨끗하며 관리가 편하도록 의견주셨습니다.

전반적으로 매끈하고 시원한 쿨톤의 소재에 따뜻한 색온도의 조명과 이탈리안 라임플라스터로 벽면에 텍스처를 만들어 따뜻함을 더해 주었습니다.

조닝 (도면 비포 에프터)
다이닝, 거실, 휴식방을 가족이 적극 소통하는 공간으로 하고 / 팬트리와 메인키친 , 욕실은 기능의 공간으로 구성했는데요.
침실안에도 적당한 수납과 기능을 넣어 구성원이 프라이빗하게 사용할 수 있도록 했습니다. 라이프스 스타일과 공간 효율을 고려해 평면을 재구성 해주었습니다.
